Badung, December 23, 2024 – GWK Cultural Park, in collaboration with the Badung Regency Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), held a blood drive on December 23, 2024. The blood drive, open to GWK employees and the general public, demonstrates its commitment through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, which aims to make a positive contribution to the community.
GWK Cultural Park took the initiative to hold the blood drive as an effort to support the national blood supply. This was also the first blood drive held at GWK Cultural Park.
"Through this first-of-its-kind CSR Blood Drive, GWK Cultural Park wants to fulfill its commitment as a socially conscious tourist destination, while also serving as a platform to encourage visitors to realize a shared vision for humanity," said Ch. Rossie Andriani, Director of Operations at GWK Cultural Park, on the sidelines of the blood drive.
The blood drive, which took place from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM WITA at Beranda Gallery, GWK Cultural Park, was attended by more than 100 participants, including employees, staff, and general visitors. This event also supported GWK Cultural Park, which provided free milk supplements and blood sugar checks.
As a favorite tourist destination in Bali, GWK Cultural Park has great potential to strengthen social awareness through this blood donation drive. With increasing visitor numbers towards the end of the year, this activity is expected to attract a large number of participants from the general public. This CSR Blood Donation activity will be held regularly and sustainably in the future. This will foster good synergy between GWK Cultural Park and other stakeholders to demonstrate social responsibility for others.
