GWK CULTURAL PARK IS BECOME AN INCREASINGLY POPULAR OUTDOOR WELLNESS DESTINATION

Badung, August 6, 2026 – A healthy lifestyle is no longer limited to a regular exercise routine. In recent years, more and more people have sought activities that not only benefit physical health but also help calm the mind. Yoga, Pilates, meditation, and various wellness practices have now become part of this lifestyle.
This development has also influenced how communities and organizers choose their activity locations. In addition to indoor settings, wellness activities are now often held outdoors. Fresh air and a calm atmosphere are considered to support each session, allowing participants to enjoy a unique experience. One recent activity is Morning Mat Pilates with SAIA Pilates at Plaza Wisnu, GWK Cultural Park. Held in the morning, this session invites participants to practice Pilates outdoors, with fresh air and a tranquil atmosphere before the tourist activities begin. The combination of Pilates movements with the panoramic view of the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Statue provides a different experience than indoor classes.
Morning Mat Pilates is one example of utilizing the open space at GWK for wellness-based activities. Since 2025, GWK Cultural Park has hosted various similar activities with several brands, including Earth Love Life, A Plus, and SAIA Pilates through the Morning Mat Pilates program, as well as meditation sessions that utilize the area's atmosphere as part of the experience.

This coming September, GWK will also host "The Sacred Sunset," a Sunset Yoga session initiated by Micro Mindfulness. The presence of various brands with their own wellness concepts demonstrates that GWK's open space can accommodate a variety of wellness activities within Bali's cultural hub.

Besides being a cultural destination and event venue, GWK also serves as a space that supports activities related to health, fitness, and self-development. Through these activities, GWK Cultural Park continues to open up opportunities for collaboration with communities and brands interested in utilizing the area as a location for their programs. Beyond wellness, the GWK area can also be used for sports, arts, culture, education, and other creative activities involving the community. With its open space character, GWK offers various opportunities for the community to create experiences that align with visitors' needs and interests.
