GWK Cultural Park Bali: Seeing from a Different Perspective, Not Just About the Statues
Being a cultural park in southern Bali that is recommended to visit, GWK Cultural Park Bali combines giant sculptures, art and cultural performances, art galleries, and open spaces located on top of beautiful limestone cliffs.
It's undeniable that many people come to take photos of the Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue. But what's also not to be missed are the stories surrounding the statue, in every corner of this cultural park.
You can view GWK Cultural Park Bali through four different lenses, which will be explained in this article. So, without further ado, let's take a closer look at each one.
First Lens, Art

Using this first lens, you can see some parts of GWK Cultural Park.
- Kencana Gallery, inaugurated on May 15, 2026, can be visited to enrich your experience when coming to this cultural park.
- Kencana Souvenir, a space to immortalize moments and a souvenir center in the southern part of Bali
- Jendela Bali is a panoramic restaurant located in the GWK Cultural Park area. The stunning views combined with delicious food are the main attractions here.
You can also enjoy this cultural park through the architecture of each building and the accompanying statues surrounding the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Statue. The statues in the plaza and other areas are an artistic element of the area not found in other parks.
The sheer number of objects you can observe from an artistic perspective means you'll never run out of material to appreciate. You can choose a specific work or angle and slowly examine its details. You'll discover the rich meaning behind the object.

Third Lens, Landscape

The third lens provides a perspective on the landscape that exists in this cultural park area.
The limestone cliffs in the largest area serve as the main backdrop for GWK Cultural Park. The Lotus Pond is frequently used for large-scale outdoor events, such as international concerts and the like.
In addition, there is also the Festival Park, Amphitheater, Plaza Wisnu, and Plaza Garuda, which also provide spacious space for anyone who comes and visits there.
To visit and fully enjoy the landscape, choose early morning when the sunlight is soft. Another option is dusk, when the sky and the orange glow begin to emerge as a backdrop.
A little tip, don't forget to bring a hat and comfortable footwear because you might be exploring quite far.
Fourth Lens, Community and Events
