MERIAHKAN LIBUR PANJANG, GWK CULTURAL PARK HADIRKAN BARAONG SHOW dan FESTIVAL OGOH-OGOH 2025
Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park presents a spectacular Baraong Show and the GWK Ogoh-Ogoh Festival for this year's special Eid holiday. These two flagship programs have been specially prepared to showcase Bali's rich culture and provide a memorable experience for all visitors during the Eid holiday.

The Baraong Show is the only performance in Bali featuring five Balinese Barongs on one stage. This unique performance, with lighting, visuals, and music, creates a spectacular attraction. Launching on April 1st, it marks the long holiday season and continues to be performed regularly every Wednesday through Saturday at the Amphitheater, a semi-open theater within GWK Cultural Park.
Ogoh-Ogoh Festival 2025
Meanwhile, one of the annual events that attracts tourists is the GWK Ogoh-Ogoh Festival . With the concept of a "people's party", this is the 5th GWK Ogoh-Ogoh Festival held by GWK Cultural Park. For tourists who missed the Ogoh-Ogoh Celebration during Nyepi Day, this Ogoh-Ogoh Festival provides additional entertainment for visitors. This activity is a collaboration and competition event for the arts community, banjar, and sekaa teruna in Bali. This event is a manifestation of GWK Cultural Park's consistency in supporting the preservation of Balinese arts and culture, especially Ogoh-Ogoh. The Ogoh-Ogoh Festival, which starts on April 2 to May 10, 2025, involves ogoh-ogoh artists from 13 Sekaa Teruna Teruni (STT) representing villages in South Kuta.
Complementing this people's festival concept, MyMelali GWK Market returns from April 1-5, 2025, at Lotus Pond GWK Cultural Park. This vibrant market provides a platform for local entrepreneurs, artisans, and creative industries to showcase their products directly to visitors. The market features a variety of offerings across five categories: Arts & Crafts, Fashion, Food, and Community Activities.
"We anticipate an increase in visitor numbers during the long Eid al-Fitr holiday, given that many families choose Bali as their holiday destination. The combination of the spectacular Baraong Show and the Ogoh-Ogoh Festival offers a complete cultural experience, where visitors can enjoy Balinese traditions combined with the creativity of today's young generation," said Ch. Rossie Andriani, Operations Director of GWK Cultural Park.
The GWK Ogoh-ogoh Festival and MyMelali GWK Market are part of GWK Cultural Park's efforts to reach a wider audience. Diversification of tourist attractions and improvements to the quality of performances are continuously carried out, including regular evaluations with the artists. Through these efforts, GWK Cultural Park hopes to reach international tourists, particularly from countries such as India, Taiwan, Australia, and European countries, which have long been potential markets for Bali's tourism industry.
