A Toast for GWK and Partners! Jendela Bali Restaurant Launches New Menu at the End of the Year

A Toast for GWK and Partners! Jendela Bali Restaurant Launches New Menu at the End of the Year

December 15, 2023

MEDIA RELEASE Badung, December 12, 2023 – Jendela Bali – The Panoramic Resto officially launches five new menu items. As part of the GWK Cultural Park, home to the world's fourth-tallest and first-widest statue, Jendela Bali boasts a sky deck that's a favorite spot for sunset and city lights views. As its name suggests, guests can experience the unique and authentic flavors of Balinese cuisine, represented through the "window" of Bali. Headed by a professional Executive Chef with experience working in various parts of the world, including France, South Africa, and Russia, Jendela Bali Restaurant maintains its Indonesian heritage. Jendela Bali presents culinary creations that will further tantalize the palate. Not only are Balinese and Indonesian specialties served, but there's also a selection of international cuisines. As part of the GWK Cultural Park, this restaurant attracts a minimum of 1,000 visitors daily, not to mention group reservations for lunch and dinner. Jawtu Bali Executive Chef Thony Wie Rido, the man behind Jendela Bali Resto's dishes, continuously innovates in flavor and presentation to satisfy guests. Known for his hard work and discipline, this chef pays close attention to every detail and is renowned for his ability to experiment with new flavors. Despite his strict character and strict adherence to established standards, Chef Thony never lets his dishes become monotonous. With intuition, creativity, and measured flexibility, Chef Thony continues to create innovative dishes that become bestsellers. On December 12, 2023, Jendela Bali Resto officially launched a new menu with Top 5 Dishes: Nasi Goreng Bebek Suna Cekuh, Ayam Bumbu Rajang, Ikan Woku Kemangi, Sop Iga, and the timeless signature dish, Crispy Duck, which has been further refined. Nasi Goreng Bebek Suna Cekuh is the star of this new menu launch. Fried rice with a traditional suna cekuh base spice blend is paired with fried duck coated in a Balinese genep base. Topped with sambal ulek (ground chili sauce) and crispy peyek (fried shrimp crackers), this dish has become Jendela Bali's most-ordered dish. Featuring Indonesian culinary mentor Chef Vindex Tengker, who was also a judge on MasterChef Indonesia season 1, the launch event was a lively affair. Chef Thony, who performed a live cooking demonstration, was given an on-the-spot review by Chef Vindex. The two collaborated seamlessly and actively engaged the media, KOLs, and influencers who were also invited to the event. Complemented by a diverse wine selection from Sababay, which supported the event, this further demonstrated that Indonesian cuisine can be served anywhere, paired with a variety of beverages, including wine pairings. "We want guests from all walks of life to be able to try a variety of traditional dishes, authentic Indonesian flavors. We pay attention to everything, from the dishes to the ambiance, even our staff are continuously trained to provide excellent service. So, as the name suggests, we want guests to experience a culinary sensation while witnessing the beauty of Bali through our 'window'," said Helmy Purboyakti, Food and Beverage Division Head of GWK. "And today's new menu launch is packaged in an appreciation night, a Toast for GWK and partners! As a token of our gratitude, we want to introduce our latest Jendela Bali dishes, supported by Sababay with its renowned wine selection. We want to make this evening a celebration of togetherness as we welcome the new year," Helmy concluded enthusiastically. The launch event was warm and intimate. As the twilight rose, the initial calming atmosphere transformed into an energetic one, and the music changed. The scenery was romantic, with the city lights and the aesthetic overwater toll road.
