Featuring the Five Elements, GWK presents the #bukansekedarkonser concept. It kicks off with a MUSIC FESTIVAL featuring top Indonesian divo artists DEWA 19 Feat. ELLO & VIRZHA, GIGI, ISYANA SARASVATI, and others. International and national DJs will also perform, including DJ JOANA, DJ REMi, DJ Super 8 & Tab, and others.
In addition, there will be a DANCE SHOW featuring Indonesian and ethnic dances by BRAVERY Dancers and LED WINGS dancers, combined with SPLASH PERCUSSION. Visitors will also be treated to a MAGICAL NIGHT MARKET with over 30 tenants offering a variety of delicious culinary delights, signature beverages, and a wide selection of fashion attire and accessories. In keeping with the Sound of Soulz (SOZ) theme, which is specifically targeted at Gen Z, this year's festivities feature a variety of activities and event concepts that perfectly suit the youthful character of this generation. For example, there's a 360-degree photo booth, a foam party decorated with LED lights, a magic show, various games, and exciting daily door prizes with a grand prize of two Kawasaki motorcycles, precious metals, and much more.
"In collaboration with Emperor Production, Bali Countdown 2024 will present a more unique, captivating, and iconic concept. Festive events, from performances by renowned artists to engaging interactive activities for every visitor, to exciting door prizes, are GWK's goal to be top of mind when people think of New Year's Eve. GWK is also committed to continuously innovating spectacular events for visitors, one of which is the New Year's Light Tower, which adopts the Ball Drop concept from New York's Times Square, and will be the first of its kind in Indonesia," said Erwyanto Tedjakusuma, Chair of the Bali Countdown 2024 Committee.
GWK is Indonesia's No. 1 Iconic Destination, committed to creating impactful events for the tourism industry. The SPECTACULAR FIREWORKS, the main highlight of Bali Countdown 2024, are set to be the highlight of this New Year's Eve celebration. This fireworks display is the largest on the island of Bali, with a truly stunning display. Known as a venue for international music concerts, GWK, as a cultural park, also prioritizes Balinese arts and culture. Beyond Parahyangan Somaka Giri and the staging of 15 Balinese cultural performances, GWK has a special project planned for 2024: the Bali Culture Gallery.
The Bali Culture Gallery will be one of the first and primary gateways for international tourists seeking to immerse themselves in the beauty of Balinese culture. The gallery aims to provide travelers with limited time to gain a comprehensive understanding of Balinese culture without having to travel to various locations. Covering an area of approximately 3,500 square meters, the gallery offers visitors an introduction to Indonesia and the island of Bali before continuing their journey to explore the life cycle of the Balinese people. A modern and immersive approach is the primary focus in developing a new experience for visitors to GWK Cultural Park.
"Not only for visitors, GWK offers ample opportunities for collaboration and collaborative work to continuously improve the quality of each industry, including for all business partners, event organizers, and other partners. Let's make every event iconic and impactful, world-class. Happy New Year 2024!" Erwyanto concluded.
