Badung, January 1, 2025 – GWK Cultural Park celebrates New Year's Eve with the iconic GWK Bali Countdown 2025. This iconic event in Bali will once again present a concept designed to showcase Balinese youth. GWK Bali Countdown 2025, which always features magnificent fireworks against the backdrop of the GWK Statue, will be combined with lively musical performances by several Indonesian musicians.
Fireworks Festival at GWK Cultural Park
This annual fireworks festival will be a spectacular spectacle, featuring a lineup of national artists and local Balinese musicians who are idols among today's youth. The Bali Countdown 2025 stage will be rocked with familiar tunes by DJ Ray and DJ Mahesa. De EX will also perform, setting the tempo of the show. A special performance at GWK Bali Countdown 2025 will be the energetic and captivating JKT48. Also performing will be Fiersa Besari, a popular musician and youth idol. This musician, known for his romantic songs, will be a special performer at GWK Bali Countdown 2024. His performance will also be the finale before Fiersa Besari's hiatus from the music scene.
In addition to the musical performances, GWK Bali Countdown 2025 audiences will be treated to a fashion show by the Miss Universe Asia 2025 finalists. Collaborating with DJs and the De EX band, the Miss Universe Asia 2025 finalists will showcase their best designer fashions.
The New Year's Eve culminates with a special fireworks display, a signature feature of every GWK Bali Countdown event and one of the largest New Year's fireworks displays in Bali. With a fireworks display lasting nearly five minutes, the audience will be treated to a diverse fireworks display against the backdrop of the majestic GWK Statue. The festive fireworks display will be accompanied by a performance by Not So Koplo.
As the best and largest outdoor venue in Bali, GWK Cultural Park pays great attention to safety and comfort in every event. GWK Cultural Park has also been honored to host several world-class events, starting from the IMF-World Bank Gala Dinner, the G20 Summit Gala Dinner, and most recently the 10th World Water Forum Gala Dinner in May 2024.
